Unboxing and First Impressions : The Parcel

It's time for the quarterly round of The Parcel boxes! Both the Girlfriend and Marie Claire boxes arrived on the same day this time so I decided to throw them together in the same post as to not isolate readers who aren't from Australia. If you're not from the land down under don't click away, this is basically just a big haul of products that are available everywhere. If you read my unboxings of the last boxes (HERE and HERE) you know I love these boxes and, once again, they didn't disappoint.

First up is the Girlfriend box which is curated by Girlfriend magazine and aimed at the teenage audience. Though it is aimed at teens, I don't see that there is an age limit on any of these products so anyone could get it. It's priced at $19.95 and comes quarterly, this box was titled the 'Hit Refresh Edit'. Here's what I got:

Veet Hair Removal Cream Sensitive Skin
These products don't strike me as something that would work very well but it is a decent size and I will surely try it.

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish in Latte and Tropink
I can't believe they've given us two nail polishes for the space of one product! Score! The colours are nice and unlike anything I own, looking forward to give them a go.

Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Daytime Treatment and Overnight Treatment
Dermalogica is a brand I've been wanting to test for a while now so I'm really excited for these. The breakout clearing treatments are products I've heard good things about.

Rimmel London BB Cream
It seems to be an ongoing theme that we get given nice (full size) BB creams in the shade medium, which is WAY to dark for me. I will be passing this on to a more worthy owner unfortunately.

L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara
There has been some mixed reviews on this one since it was released so I'm interested to try it. I'm going to leave it in it's packaging for a while though because I've got too many mascaras open as is.

Bioré Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser
Already in my skincare rotation, check it out in my Evening Skincare Routine post. All I'll say is, the warming effect feels really awesome.

Bonus: Hoyts Voucher for a Buy 1 Get 1 Free Ticket to see Insurgent
This is worth the price of the box on it's own! If I don't use it my Mum definitely will, so it's going to save someone some cash.

The pamphlet for this one does not include the prices of each product but you can easily see that it is worth way over the $20 price tag. I would totally recommend this to anyone who is interested! You can sign up HERE

The slightly pricier Marie Claire box costs $29.95 and is curated by the beauty team over at Marie Claire magazine. This is the Autumn Edit and it's smashing.

Lancome Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate $95 (only a sample)
It's such a cute little bottle! I don't really have much more to say on this once, any skincare sample is a good skincare sample.

Max Factor Masterpiece Transform Mascara $23.95
Another mascara, though this one I couldn't resist opening. It's working really well for me so far, the brush is cool and conical shaped.

Rimmel BB Cream Radiance $12.95
The ongoing theme strikes again, though this time I'm still tossing up keeping it just because it's a radiance one. Maybe one day I will get tanned and need it? *tries to justify not giving it to a better home*

MOR Emporium Classics Snow Gardenia Triple-Milled Soap $19.95
I'm not particularly one for blocks of soap but this is a really good size and it smells nice.

L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream in Shea Butter $42 (the price is for the large size but they also sell this smaller size as an actual product)
My Nan loves this stuff so I've tried it before and know how beautifully luxurious it is. I'm really looking forward to breaking this out for a special occasion.

Garnier Skin Naturals Miracle Skin Cream $19.95
I've seen Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup talk about this, so I've been interested in checking it out. The size is really good and the concept is awesome, look out for a possible review of this one.

Schick Hydro Silk $14.25
Love a good razor and this one looks really nice, not much to speak on yet.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes $3.99
These will be really good to take away with me when I go on weekend trips, I just hope they're actually good at removing the makeup.

As you can see, the prices were included with this one and I calculated it to be worth roughly $120 which is insane! Such a score for a beauty lover like myself. This is aimed at a slightly older audience, twenty and up, hence it is a bit more high end. That being said, I'm 17 and I love it so don't take their guides as gospel. You can pick up the box over at their website HERE

I love these boxes so much, they're definitely a special treat to get every three months. If you've tried The Parcel, tell me your thoughts or if you haven't tried it just tell me which product of these you would be most interested in using!

Lots of Love,

Shannon
