WOMF: Spring Day

Spring has officially sprung here in Australia and that means I'm mixing my makeup up slightly. On this particular day I started with my new Nars Tinted Moisturiser in Finland, I will probably do an entire post on this at some point in the future so I won't go into too much detail. It's just a really nice light base, though it is ever so slightly too dark for me (fingers crossed for a tiny bit of a summer tan). Then I used my usual Maybelline Fit Me Concealer over any aggressive red patches. This is a good concealer because it leaves the face looking natural and not too caked on.

Over the top of that I bronzed up my face slightly with my Body Shop Honey Bronzer and added a little blush in the form of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion. Under my eyes were looking dark so I swiped over some L'Oreal Magic Lumi to brighten things up.

I kept my eyes super simple with a mixture of Faint and Crave from the Naked Basics Palette pressed along the lash line, keeping it on the outer half of the eye to enlongate it slightly. I then used the shade Venus as an inner corner highlight and underneath the brow bone and applied lashings of the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

Finally I pressed my new favourite lipstick, MAC Pink Pearl Pop (Read more about it HERE or HERE) lightly on to my lips to add a bit of colour and then added some Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment over the top for moisture.

I'm still perfecting the spring makeup, a girl can't be expected to have it spot on during the first week of warm weather, but I know that a lot of these products will be staples over the next few months.

Current Reads: We Were Liars

Firstly, I would like to address the fact that my blog posts have been an accurate representation of my life lately. They've been happening, just a bit late. I've been so busy recently in the lead up to my end of year exams (and I've been procrastinating like nobody's business, you know how it is, the more you have to do the less you want to do it) that I've been slacking off on the blog writing duties.

Anyway, on to the book...

I heard about this book, We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, somewhere and then the next day my uncle happened to arrive on our doorstep with it as a gift. Coincidence? I think not. This book and I were meant to be together. I was enthralled by the back cover that read 'We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense that will leave you reeling. Read it. And if anyone asks you how it ends, just lie.' If that's not a good blurb I don't know what is.

I would describe this as a young adult novel that could easily be enjoyed by an adult who was looking for a easy read. I started the book at 9:30pm and read straight though until I finished it at 2am. Not only does this tell you that it's an enthralling book, it also shows that it is a relatively quick read. The book has an interesting structure, with some parts being more like poetry. It is very much written from the perspective of the main character Candence, a troubled teenage girl from an upper crust American family. It follows her struggles with her family who all live on their own private island for the summer.

This novel shows how beautifully tragic life can be and how messed up some families can be, even though you love them regardless. John Green sums it up perfectly in his quote on the front cover that says 'thrilling, beautiful, and blisteringly smart, We Were Liars is utterly unforgettable'.

Now go, read it. And don't ask me how it ends or I'll have to make up some crap about a llama and a hula hoop, which we will both know is a lie.

A Day in the Garden

Today I was up at the crack of dawn to embark on a little trip to see my grandparents. Dad,  my younger sister Sammy and myself all spent some quality time trapsing around Nanna and Grandpa's small country town and taking in their beautiful garden. It was such a beautiful day, so of course many happy snaps were taken. Selfishly, I didn't include any photos with my grandparents because I am a squinty eyed mess in them. I know they would be fine with it as long as their garden was being showcased in all of it's glory.

I know this post is a bit different to what I usually do, but I thought it was too nice of a day not to acknowledge it!

A Splash of Blue

OCC Lip Tar in True Cyan Blue | Triangl Santa Rosa Splash | Pop Face Watch | ASOS Pensive Pointed High Heels | Tall Moto Vintage Rip Jamie Jeans | Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Electric

Moto Ice Bleach Western Jacket | Nars Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Giove | Structured Palm Playsuit | Taya Tassel Key Ring | Jasmine Day Bag | ASOS Waist Belt With Buckle Detail |

When I think of Spring, I think of the colour blue and after my post 'A Splash of Orange' a few months ago, I've wanted to do another one like it. How do I combine the two? Make it A Splash of Blue, of course! All of the above products could happily find a home in my bedroom but none of them have thus far. They're all just so pretty that I don't think there's very much more to say. Check it all out, the products are linked below the picture in order.

Steal Her Style: Taylor Swift

Source

Taylor Swift is such a style icon because she has a really specific style. It's cute and feminine, a little bit southern and just all round great (good job at describing style Shannon, you should work for Vogue). The look I've chosen is one of Taylor's more casual looks but the thing about her is that she never looks too casual, it's always super classy. Look how much the people in the background are appreciating her outfit.

Top: Joules Womens Classic Shirt, Multi Victoria Check
Jeans: J.Crew Toothpick Mint-Green Skinny Jeans
Shoes: Dune Heeled Brogues
Bag: Sophie Hulme Burgundy Mini Envelope Soft Leather Clutch Bag
Lips: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Striking

This would be a simple look to recreate for everyday wear. The colour palette is optional and because of that most people will own a shirt and jeans to make an outfit that is similar. The brogue shoes are a good look but I would personally prefer to wear a flat pair with this look because I'm not a super celebrity like Taylor who can get away with wearing heels on an everyday basis. I also think this look would be super chic if it was monochrome.

Battle of the Favourite Posts

I noticed the other day that I have surpassed 100 posts on this blog of mine and I thought that deserved a post. To top off battles week I thought I would throw it back and share six of my favourite posts of all time with you all. I have my reasons for each and I think they all deserve a gander if you have the time.

Top 5 Spring Lip Products
The most recent post on this list sports one of my favourite blog pictures I have ever taken. There is something about the above picture that gives me immense pleasure and makes me feel, well, good at what I do. On top of that I wrote all about lip products, which are another of my favourite things. This is a very typical blog post, there is nothing particularly inventive or amazing about it but that doesn't hurt my enjoyment of it. Not all posts need to be groundbreaking, in fact I don't think any of these posts are groundbreaking but I'm proud of them nevertheless.

Beauty Interviews
It should go without saying that I adore by Beauty Interview series on the blog. It is one of the best decisions I have made in terms of content and I have loved getting to connect with the girls I have interviewed so far. I have interviewed Anna, Tasha, Chloe, Toni and even myself  in the series and I have hopes that number of lovely people will grow as it becomes a monthly event. It is really fun to see how each person answers the questions differently, by the end of the post we all have a good idea of what the interviewee is really like.

Rose Gold Goodness
A post all about one of my favourite (and most useful) purchases, what is there not to love? The background for this picture is so cute and they're such a visually pleasing brush set. Summing each brush up and sharing what I use them for was a breeze because I genuinely use them.

The Disney Tag
This was a little tag I spotted on another blog and knew instantly I had to do myself. I loved it so much that I literally wrote the post right away, you have no idea how much of a feat that is for me because I'm a major procrastinator. It hit me at exactly the right time because I was having a severe case of post Disney World blues and this eased the pain slightly. I still stick by my answers for the most part but I don't think anything will ever be definite because there's just so much good Disney material out there.

Party Clutch Must Haves
A simple little post that I enjoy because it is so comprehensive. After attending a party (this is a rare occurrence for me) I realised that my small clutch housed everything I needed and not a skerrick more! Of course, I had to turn this into a post. It's not the most interesting of posts but it is certainly helpful if you're like me and always worry you're forgetting that one important thing.

Holiday Cooking; Easter
My holiday cooking posts were some of my favourite when I first started the blog. Though they've slowly been swept under the rug in recent months, I stand by my love of them and plan to bring them back shortly. The best post would have to have been the Easter one because it included the recipe for my famous brownies. If there is one dish I am known for it is these squares of sweet fudgy deliciousness and I couldn't be happier to share the recipe with the internet.

These are the six posts that stand out to me as favourites but I am really proud of every post I put up on LOLS. If I had to choose a winner of this battle it would probably be the Beauty Interviews, but it's an incredibly close call. Like choosing a favourite child, I would imagine. There is nothing better than creating something from scratch and putting it out into the world. So here's to 100 more posts...

Battle of the Highlighters

I can't believe Battles Week is already nearing it's end, boy how time flies. For this second last post (and the final makeup post, hint hint) I decided to give myself a challenge. The other posts have been relatively easy to name a winner because I go into it with one of the products already being a favourite, but this one is different. For the life of me I wasn't able to tell whether either of these products even did anything, let alone which one of them was better. For the sake of the post, I put my inspector hat on and went deep to find the gritty details.

Lets start by addressing packaging. This was the only part that I knew the winner straight off the bat. I know my Benefit Girl Meets Pearl is only a sample but I've done some research into the full size packaging and I still think the L'Oreal Magic Lumi wins hands down. You simply turn the end and the product comes out ready to apply. No worrying about having too much product all over your fingers or an uneven coverage because you paint it on and blend it in.

But how well do they work? I love that they both look very natural when applied to the skin. I don't want my face looking like a crazy disco ball all of the time. I love the way the L'Oreal pen looks under my eyes because once it's blended it is untraceable but it leaves everything looking 300% brighter and more awake. It has a nice yellow tone to it so it counteracts darkness well, though if there is any significant dark circles a concealer will need to be used underneath (it sits really well on top of my Maybelline Fit Me btw). This also works well on other areas of the face to give a nice highlighting effect without using a powder.

The Benefit offering does not do as good of a job at brightening up my eyes, but it is a great natural highlight on the tops of my cheek bones and any other areas of the face. It has a slightly more pinky tone to it, this is more obvious in real life than it is on camera, and that makes it blend in really well and look super subtle. I find that this is perfect to wear when you don't want to look like you're wearing anything at all, especially if you're going for that sun kissed surfer chic look (you know the one, a bit of salt spray in the hair and plenty of bronzer).

I have grown to love these products since I began giving them a good test for this post. The L'Oreal number has made its way into my must have pile and I don't think my face looks the same without it anymore. Because of this I will have to give it the win for this battle, it is just more versatile than the Girl Meets Pearl. I love a good subtle highlight under the eyes to make me look awake in the morning!

Battle of the Exfoliators

These days there are so many different ways to exfoliate. Oh how far the world has come! There's physical, chemical, electric options, serums and probably other options as well for exfoliating your face. I'm going to share with you all of the different types I have experienced and which I would suggest.

Chemical Exfoliation
My experience with this has been using the Clinique Clarifying Lotion as a toner between cleansing and moisturising. This is a good everyday option for everyone to use. I apply it with a cotton pad all over my face and it dries almost instantly, making it a nice quick addition to my rountine. I will admit that I had no idea why I was using this when I first got it but I have since discovered that it is a light chemical exfoliant that works slowly when applied day and night. I would recommend this for people who just want a quick exfoliate daily rather than having to put effort in, or for people with bad dry patches/oilyness who need a little extra exfoliation in their lives.

Physical Exfoliation
We're talking scrubs of all shapes and kinds. There are heaps of options for scrubs out there depending on your skin type and how sensitive it is. Some people have such hardy skin that they can use scrubs that are intense enough for the body, but this is certainly not recommended. I personally prefer cleaners that have tiny beads in it rather than a sugar scrub that is pictured above. These are more gentle on the skin and give it a proper clean at the same time. I would recommend this for people who have skin that needs a lot of exfoliation (especially the cleanser ones because they would be great to use everyday) or for people like me with normal sensitive skin, this would be a good thing to use on a pamper evening or whenever you need a little something extra.

Exfoliating Brushes
I've ventured into the weird and wonderful world of exfoliating brushes. I didn't feel the need to splash out and buy a Clarasonic, no instead I picked up one in TJ Maxx for about $20 when I was Stateside. I really enjoy using this once or twice a week to clear up my skin and get rid of any excess that may have been hanging around. I use this by getting a pump of my usual cleanser and spreading it all over my face. Then I wet my brush and turn it on, moving it around my face in small circular motions. I would recommend this for anyone really because even with my sensitive skin (that is also not overly oily or overly dry) it works a treat. It won't work for everyone daily because it's probably a bit abrasive for those of us who aren't oil slicks, but as an extra add on it's perfect.

I can't crown a winner of this one because they all have their own specific purposes! This battle has got to be called a tie.

Battle of the Favourite Polishes

It has been a while since I've done a post solely dedicated to my favourite nail shades, so I figured I would just have to incorporate one into battles week. Above you see my top five nail polishes of the moment. Sure, there are similarities in colour and formula but one of those polishes will rise to the top of the heap and win this mighty battle. First, lets sum each of them up.

Essie Russian Roulette
This is the most classic colour of the bunch. A bright red that is one or two shades darker than fire engine red but still very much of that vein. I love wearing this with a monochrome outfit to make me feel all badass and cool, it also works just as well giving a garden dress some Hollywood glamour. That may not make any sense to you but I understand exactly what I mean. This is one of those shades that also looks fabulous on the toes.

Rimmel Salon Pro in Punk Rock
As I said in my last nail round up (Read it HERE), I suck at keeping my polish seasonally appropriate. This is a really interesting colour that I had my eye on for ages before I bit the bullet and picked it up. Did I really need another nail polish? Absolutely not. Erring on the side of blue, it is a deep blue-grey that varies in intensity and shade depending on what light you're in. Sometimes it looks black, blue or grey.

Revlon Nail Enamel in White on White
Gosh I love a good white nail. There's something about white nail polish that I am drawn to every time. This, as the name would suggest, is a really stark true white. It is like a piece of good paper, really crisp and eye catching. This is the only white polish I've ever owned, so I'm sure there are better out there but for now this is doing me just fine.

Rimmel Salon Pro in Temptress
This deep pink shade just makes me feel classy and adult. It is like something my grandma would wear but in a good way (weird...I'm gonna stick with it though). This has red undertones so it is far deeper than the common fluorescent or Barbie pinks that people wear. I think this is the pink version of Russian Roulette in that it has the same function in my life, only for when I feel like a pink rather than a red.

Essie Cute as a Button
The name says it all. This peachy pink shade is my absolute favourite of them all because it is just so gosh darn wearable. Not is it only actually appropriate for Spring, for once, but it garners plenty of praise when I use it. It is more pink than peach, this is not what I thought when I initially bought it, and that turns out to look far better on my skin tone than proper peach colours.

Now you may be thinking 'Shannon, you didn't address formula or staying power or brushes or anything else important when reviewing a nail polish'. You're right, nameless reader, I based this entire post solely on the colour of polish. Different, I know, but here is what I have to say on the formula of these polishes. All of them have great formulation as far as I can tell, they're quick drying and apply well (with the white shade taking a few extra coats but that is to be expected for a white). The reason I don't have much of an opinion on this is because my top coat always gets rid of any issues. It makes all polishes last for a week on my nails and masks any imperfections in my paint job (Read an entire review of this miracle product HERE).

Based on colour alone, I'm going to have to give this one to Cute as a Button. That being said, my polish choices always depend on my mood and what has been on my mind lately, so my answer might be different in a month. For now this Essie shade is the top of my tree.

Battle of the Shimmery Quads

A couple of months back I found myself inexplicably attached to the MAC Sharon Osbourne Duchess Quad. I eventually purchased it and have been using it quite a lot but it has not been until recently that I realised just how similar his quad is to my old favourite Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Quad. Now I know that neither of these palettes are actually available anymore and for that I feel a little stupid bothering to have them battle it out, but there is method to my madness. Not only do I want to compare the quality of MAC eyeshadows compared to Clinique, I also want to show that if you really love a product you will keep coming back to it (whether it is the actual product or subconsciously find something very similar).

The MAC quad has it's classic buttery texture and good pigmentation. The packaging is really nice and the way the lid secures with a magnet is satisfying every time. I would have to say that the Clinique has better packaging in the long run because though it doesn't feel quite as luxe, it is more practical. The palette is almost half the size of the MAC and the shadows are almost the same size. It also has a more traditional latch close so that there is no chance of it coming open during travel.

Though the Clinique shadows feel a more chalky texture to the touch (not bad at all but it's hard to match the smoothness of MAC) they go on to the skin really well and smooth out over the lid nice and evenly. I would say that the darkest shade in this quad, fudge, is better than the one in the other palette in terms of colour pay off. The MAC offering is more matte but it is not as easy to apply evenly.

There are two outlying colours, one from each quad, that deserve a quick address. The Clinique features a light pink shade that is not very pigmented, I just find that I have never worn the shade because I don't feel it goes with the others in the quad and I tend to gravitate towards more dusty rose pinks for my eyes. The MAC quad features a more orange toned brown that I was at odds with when I first got it. Nothing against the formulation, it is a truly beautiful shadow, but I wasn't sure whether the orange tone worked with my eyes and skin. It turns out that I can make it work as long as I wear a black liner to break up the colour.

I am so happy that I would another palette to that is as cute and wearable as my favourite Clinique one. I'm especially glad that I was reminded of my little Clinique number so that I can now break it back out and put it into my rotation! All in all I would have to give this one to the MAC just because of their great formulation and luxe feel, but it doesn't really matter because this is more of a post to remind you to break out your old favourites and realise just how much you love them.

Battle of the Brown Eyeliners

Are you ready to rumble?! Because facing off in the ring today are two products fairly similar in idea, so it should be a good one. First up is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Bronze and in the other corner is the Sephora Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil in Cappuccino. Have you had enough of the wrestling references yet? Good because I'm all out of knowledge. I think I will just bow my head and move on to the makeup review now. Stick with what you know.

Okay, so we have two shimmery pencil eyeliners. Both claim to be 0.04 ounces of waterproof amazingness but lets see how they stack up. First lets address the price. In Australia the difference between the two is minimal, with the Rimmel offering costing $9.95 and the converted price of the Sephora pencil coming in at around $11.50. In America the difference is more substantial (Sephora $10 and Rimmel $4.50). Obviously the Rimmel wins out in the price, not only because it is cheaper but also because it is more obtainable for people everywhere.

The packaging is pretty similar on both, with the main difference being colour and lid opacity. Rimmel has a slightly cheaper looking clear lid whereas Sephora has all black packaging. The thing that bothered me about both of their packaging was that I was unsure how to sharpen both of the pencils (this one may actually be down to my own stupidity, but we will have to see). The product comes out of a black tip and does not look wholly connected to the actual brown product. The fact that the bottom of both pencils twist and the plastic looking tip does not look like it would be sharpenable made me figure that they were twist up pencils. After living with unsharpened pencils for months, I finally did a google search that answered all of my questions. Despite what it looks like, you do have to physically sharpen these. The Sephora product felt a little more unstable after the sharpening than the Rimmel but both are still functional.

I would say that they have equal amounts of shimmer in them, which is quite a lot. The Rimmel is a slightly more bronze colour, as the name would suggest, whereas the Sephora is a darker brown. Personally, I prefer the darker brown because I think it is more flattering on my eyes but that is really down to personal preference. Neither of the products will budge on the eye all day but I wouldn't say they were completely waterproof. I find it hard to believe that any piece of makeup can be 100% waterproof and these don't convert me. Though I've never tried swimming in them I know that they would move around.

So up to this point you may see that both products are fairly even. It is the point of this post to choose a winner and I found the one thing that gives the Rimmel eyeliner the edge in this battle. The Sephora eyeliner doesn't pull on they eyelid but the Rimmel pencil is still far creamier and easier to apply. It glides across the lash line like a dream and sets into place very quickly. Because of this, and the fact that it is cheaper, I am going to have to award the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Bronze the trophy for winning this tough battle.

Battle of the Price Points

Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to Battles Week here on LOLS! I know, it's very exciting. Please try to contain your violent squeals/arm flailing/pants wetting until you next find yourself in a secluded field, for both my and your own safety. This week will be full of product reviews and my personal opinions, it should be barrels of fun for the whole family.

To start off, I thought I would get a little opinionated and share my thoughts on the battle between drugstore and high end beauty products. It's on oft discussed topic around the blogging/Youtube community because people tend to lean one way or the other in their preferences. Lots of people love hearing about high end products and request reviews when someone doesn't do them, whereas when people use too many high end products people complain at the price.

The whole thing is different in different countries. I would describe it as follows (try to follow me through this tedious metaphor, I will get there in the end): In Australia, it is a single coin with two different sides. Either way it is like a $5 coin. Here, the difference between drugstore and high end makeup is getting smaller but it all stays relatively expensive in comparison. In America, however, it is like two totally separate coins; a $2 and a 5 cent coin. The high end stuff is fairly pricy but the drugstore stuff can be dirt cheap.

I like to try all sorts of things, no matter where I can buy them from. That being said, I am automatically drawn to high end products more. I have five reasons behind this:

1. I see a lot of reviews on high end products, which makes them more enticing
Obviously, a lot of the reviews I read are by far more successful people than myself and they have been sent the product for review as a PR sample. I don't partake in this activity myself (though I may be open to it, holla at a sister) but I don't shun people who do as being dishonest. I still take the reviews as the truth and when I see all of my favs raving over a product I can't help but be a little envious.

2. There's not that much of a difference in price
Example time! I am on the market for a new black liquid eyeliner and I've been doing some googling on the topic. I heard that the L'Oreal liner is a good one so I looked up the price to see if I should make a sneaky Priceline order and it cost $25! I could get a Stila one for $26 and I know that the Stila one will at least last longer without drying out. With such a small difference in price between some of the top drugstore and mid-range high end, why not give in to all of these other reasons and splash out a little?

3. The packaging is so darn cute!
I know, I'm a shallow mess, it's true. But in my own defence, I am right. The packaging on Hourglass, Chanel and even Benefit is streets ahead of the Rimmel packaging. It is so luxurious that you feel your shoes and all of your other possessions are equally as extravagant, when they're really all from Target.

4. It's all about the brands baby
Everything has a brand associated to it now and we can't all afford the real pricy brand name stuff. Sure, we can afford a couple more cents to get the brand name flour over home brand but we certainly can't afford an Audi. The makeup is about as fancy as I can get on my budget, so I relish my chance to have a brand name item that I can splash around (when I say 'splash around' I mean I keep it in a drawer in my bedroom and never show it to anyone other than people who read my blog). Again, shallow, I know.

5. I can do whatever I want
People shouldn't feel obligated to use drugstore products just so that people don't call them snobby. Tenneil from the blog Like Neon Love (one of my blogging icons btw, so sleek and professional) wrote a post on a similar topic to this, addressing the fact that she uses solely high end products and I respect everything she had to say. Check it out HERE if you're interested. I agree that it is my money and if I choose to spend it on more expensive things, as long as I don't develop a serious issue with the whole thing, I can do what I please. No, I probably wont buy as many things because they cost me more money but if that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make there is no stopping me.

Wow, that was a long ramble. I figured I would start Battles Week out with a post like this so that the rest of the week can be fairy floss about blusher and books. Get excited about that! On a more serious note, I would love to hear what you readers have to say on the whole topic. Leave a comment below or chat with me on Twitter if you want.

Beauty Interview with A Winter Daze

Welcome to the first monthly Beauty Interview! This month I've spoken to Tasha who runs the blog A Winter Daze. She's a lovely girl with an awesome blog, her layout is out of this world. Lets get into it and find out a bit about this New Zealand (and originally English) Beauty.

1. What is the first piece of makeup you remember owning?

Lipglosses growing up. Mum and dad bought my a pink lipgloss and a purple lipgloss in tiny little screw lid containers and i used to wear them all the time. I used to think I was so cool.

2. What is the number one beauty product on your wishlist at the moment?

Right now, it's Mac All that Glitters. Which I plan on buying next week. Next on the list though is probably Naked 2.

3. How many different foundations do you own and which is your favourite?

Two foundations and one BB cream. One of those foundations I never even wear! The only foundation I use is Match Perfection by Rimmel. I find it super easy to blend in, and it's not too heavy coverage either.

4. What is the type of beauty product you hoard the most?

Nail polishes. By far. I have far to many, yet I just keep buying them.

5. How many steps do you have in your morning skincare routine? How about your evening skincare routine?

In the morning I keep it super simple. A face wipe (usually Nivea) to get rid of any 'stuff' that's accumulated overnight, and then my Kiehls moisturiser, and then make up. In the evenings, I use a wipe to get rid of my make up. I then use a tiny tiny bit of St Ive's apricot scrub in the shower, followed by Lush Tea Tree Toner ahnd my Khiels moisturiser again. Then I spot treat with Lush's Grease Lightening.

Now onto a few quick fire this or that questions...

1. MAC or Nars? I don't own either. But I do lust over more MAC at the moment.
2. Rimmel or Revlon? Rimmel. I own so much Rimmel, and only a few revlon nail polishes.
3. Mascara or Concealer? Concealer. To be honest most days I forget to put mascara on before work, but I always have concealer on.
4. Skincare or Haircare?  I'm more likely to focus on skin care and dry shampoo rather than do nothing to my face and sort out my hair.
5. Purifying mask or hydrating mask? Hydrating mask. My skin is very dry in some places.
6. High end or Drugstore? Can I say mix and match? I definitely believe in buying the cheaper alternative of a high end product.
7. Blog or Vlog? Blog. We don't have heaps of data at home so i prefer to read blogs as i can't watch vlogs too often.
8. Hair up or hair down? Hair up. My hair is so unbelievably long it gets in the way if i have it down.
9. Red or Pink Lipstick? Red. I feel like snow white with red lipstick.
10. Highlight or Contour? Highlight. Being super pale, Ive struggled to find the right shade or bronzer to contour well, and i love the healthy glow that highlighting adds.
