Day 1: White Christmas Recipe

Do you have a function to attend? Should you probably take something along? Can't be bothered baking a fancy cake? Don't worry, I've got you covered. This is the most simple slice you could ever make yet you still look like you made an effort. It's the perfect thing to take to all of your christmas gatherings this holiday season.

Ingredients
  • -  1/2 cups rice bubbles
  • - 100g halved red glace cherries
  • - 160g roasted halved almonds
  • - 160g sultanas
  • - 1 cup  desiccated coconut
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
1. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 minute bursts, taking out the chocolate and stirring it between bursts.

2. Add all other ingredients to a bowl and stir. Pour the melted chocolate over the top and carefully stir together.

3. Pour into a pan (pre prepared with baking paper) and smooth the mixture out to make a flat surface. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.

4. Take the slice out of the refrigerator and cut it up. You will probably need to heat up you knife in boiling water in order to cut through easily. Then enjoy your delicious Christmassy slice!

If you decide to give this a go, please let me know if you enjoy it in the comments below.
